About the Role
Collaborate with the Marketing Consultant on all marketing efforts to represent the company in the community.
Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities.
Schedule to attend regular outreach exhibitions in the community and provide feedback on community.
Conduct initial assessments and screenings to evaluate individuals seeking behavioral health services.
Follow the Intake Process Model for schedule the screening, CCA appointment (If one is not available) and home visit to complete the Intake Packet. (Consists of Intake Packet and Signature Page) 5-7 days from Referral.
Gather clients' relevant demographic, clinical, and insurance information during intake interviews.
Assess clients' mental health and substance abuse history, presenting problems, and treatment goals.
Determine the appropriate level of care based on assessment findings and clinical guidelines.
Coordinate referrals from appropriate treatment programs, providers, or community resources. Maintain this information on an excel sheet.
Collaborate with clinical staff, including therapists, psychiatrists, and case managers, to ensure continuity of care.
Schedule appointments for clients and coordinate follow-up care as needed for the intake process.
Educate clients and their families about the program services and the other services, including therapy, medication management, and support services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) of client information and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations, such as HIPAA, when handling sensitive client information.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and treatment planning.
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress, including assisting with safety planning and connecting them with appropriate resources.
Stay informed about developments in the field of behavioral health and participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or program director.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
Previous experience working in a behavioral health setting, such as a mental health clinic, substance abuse treatment center, or psychiatric hospital, is preferred.
Knowledge of assessment tools and diagnostic criteria for mental health and substance use disorders.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate and nonjudgmental attitude towards individuals seeking behavioral health services.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to accommodate client needs and program requirements.
