About the Role

Clinical & Operational Oversight:
Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with Medicaid guidelines, state, and federal regulations for mental health services.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for service delivery.
Monitor clinical performance metrics and ensure team members meet service quotas.
Collaborate with leadership to streamline workflows and improve service outcomes.

Staff Management & Training:
Supervise clinical staff, peer support specialists, and other team members.
Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for staff development.
Ensure all employees are completely required to do Medicaid training within 30 and 90 days of hire.
The staff address concerns, performance issues, and provide coaching as needed.

Client Care & Program Coordination:
Oversee client assessments, treatment plans, and progress tracking.
Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Facilitate case reviews and interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care.
Implement strategies to enhance client engagement and retention.
Ensure services are delivered in a culturally competent and person-centered manner.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Monitor documentation accuracy and timeliness to meet Medicaid and company compliance standards.
Conduct internal audits and quality assurance checks on clinical documentation.
Implement risk management strategies to maintain program integrity.
Stay informed on regulatory updates, industry trends, and best practices in mental health services.

Crisis Management & Conflict Resolution:
Respond to client crises and de-escalate situations as necessary.
Develop and implement crisis intervention protocols to ensure client and staff safety.
Support staff in handling challenging client interactions with professionalism and care.

Collaboration & Strategic Growth:
Work closely with executive leadership, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Identify opportunities for program growth and service expansion.
Foster a collaborative team environment to promote efficiency and staff engagement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Preferred).

  • 3+ years of experience in clinical operations, behavioral health, or mental health services.

  • Experience managing Medicaid-compliant programs and mental health services.

  • Prior experience supervising staff and overseeing clinical documentation.
