About the Role

Review and respond to emails calls and texts, communicate with QPs about corporate and UM concerns.
Handle problems that arise with consumers
Receive and Process referrals
Coordinate CCAs with the therapist
QP case assignment,
Review productivity sheets and provide feedback
Assist QPs with work upon request
Communicate with UM regarding Auths and Initials
Communicating with program managers pertaining to team concerns
Workflow, communicate with HR about staff related inquiries
Assist peers with agency inquiries and payroll issues
Send reminders to staff/QPs
Conduct follow ups on issues previously addressed
Advocate for QPs and peers
Assist with resolving staff’s conflict and concerns
Assist with nurse supervision participation
Coordinate care with the treatment team
Counsel staff when needed
Perform any other task assigned by corporate upon request
Ensure that reports and assignments are submitted timely
Send billing report to staff -if any notes didn’t pay out out

The Area Manager will oversee different areas in our region.
Be responsible for fostering continued functionality, increased efficiency, and the overall growth of the clinics in our region.
Point of contact to supervise, support, and manage operational aspects in their assigned area.
Oversight and coaching
Collaboration with Executive Management and HR is utilized in the planning and execution of training programs
Including inquiry calls, patient care, and clinical staffing
Insurance authorizations and peer-to-peer follow-ups
Assists HR with staff performance evaluations, staff development, and promotion planning, including supervision, mentorship, and delegation of duties (as appropriate)
Ensure QP are requesting time sheets from staff
Professional and collaborative communication is maintained with all levels of staff, including peers, subordinates, patients, and referral sources
Acquisition of new patients, referrals, and referral sources through the implementation of strategic marketing plans
Data is recorded to capture referral call data, market and demographic changes, communication response data, and expense reporting
Participation in regular meeting cadences with leadership teams is achieved in an effort to produce information summaries related to key initiatives for use in both internal and external reporting, including: Identifying, designing, and implementing best practices, ensuring the capture of necessary data, including clinical and financial performance data,
Produce, understand, and review for accuracy, insurance authorization and submission data to identify trends and participate in the development and implementation of corrective action planning
Support Clinical Operations team to audit performance and standards of patient care while achieving continuous improvement through modeling, analytics, and partnership; providing optimal integration of business and clinical processes and outcomes

Requirements

  • Education:

    • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.

    • Licensure: A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or similar clinical licensure is preferred but not always required.

  • Experience:

    • 5-7 years of experience in mental health services, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

    • Experience working with both adult and youth populations, particularly in a community or outpatient setting.

    • Strong understanding of mental health treatment modalities, service delivery systems, and best practices in clinical care.

  • Skills:

    • Leadership skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and support a diverse team of clinicians and support staff.

    • Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, families, and community partners.

    • Crisis management: Ability to assess and respond to mental health crises, ensuring appropriate interventions are implemented.

    • Budgeting and financial management: Understanding of budgeting, financial oversight, and resource allocation.

    • Knowledge of mental health laws: Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations, including those specific to mental health services and youth care.

    • Problem-solving skills: Ability to resolve conflicts and address operational issues in a timely and effective manner.

    • Cultural competence: Ability to work with a diverse population and adapt approaches to meet the cultural and linguistic needs of clients.

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with both staff and clients.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

    • Ability to think critically and make decisions based on clinical and operational needs.

  • Certifications and Training (may vary by employer):

    • CPR/First Aid certification.

    • Crisis Intervention Training

    • Specialized training in child/adolescent mental health, trauma-informed care, or dual diagnosis treatment may be a plus.
