About the Role
Leadership and Supervision:
Leading a team of mental health professionals including therapists, counselors, social workers, and psychiatrists, assigning tasks, providing clinical supervision, and evaluating staff performance.
Program Development and Implementation:
Designing and overseeing mental health programs, including intake processes, treatment modalities, and discharge planning, to address diverse client needs.
Quality Assurance:
Monitoring clinical quality standards, reviewing client records, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.
Budget Management:
Managing the program budget, including allocating funds for staff salaries, treatment services, and operational costs.
Compliance and Regulations:
Ensuring adherence to all relevant mental health laws, ethical guidelines, and accreditation standards.
Community Outreach and Collaboration:
Building relationships with community agencies, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to coordinate care and promote mental health awareness.
Clinical Consultation:
Providing clinical expertise to staff, including case consultation, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Staff Training and Development:
Identifying training needs and providing ongoing professional development opportunities for staff.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collecting and analyzing data to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Crisis Management:
Responding to crisis situations and providing necessary interventions for clients in need.
Requirements
Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
Licensed mental health professional (LCMHC,LCASA,LMFT,LCSW)
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities
Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
Experience in program development and implementation
Financial management and budgeting skills
Minimum of 5 years' experience in behavioral health services
Management or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
Strong clinical background in mental health or substance abuse treatment
